Botanical Designer - Outdoor Containers

We are seeking a talented Botanical Designer who can whip up the most stunning Potted Outdoor Containers that will inspire and captivate our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually captivating potted containers for outdoor areas using bedding plants, shrubs, perennials or a mix of these plant types.
- Careful selection of plant materials to ensure they are suitable for each specific environment, all while taking into consideration container placement and arrangement, colour schemes, watering, and lighting requirements.
- Educate clients on plant care and maintenance to ensure the longevity and health of their outdoor containers.
- Collaborate with our nursery buying team to ensure efficient, timely plant ordering and stock maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly labelled, maintained, and stored.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in planting outdoor containers or Landscape Design. Preference will be given to applicants who can provide photographs or visual representation of previous container gardening projects.
- Excellent artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for color, texture, and composition.
- Strong communication skills, with the capacity to effectively convey ideas and work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with a commitment to deliver outstanding results.
- Physical stamina and dexterity, as the role may require lifting and carrying heavy pots up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for color, texture, and composition.
Schedule Requirements:

This position is needed on a seasonal, part-time basis from April through Fall to work between 12-20 hours per week including weekdays and weekends. Flexibility on committed availability is required.
